SS501 member Kim Kyu Jong expressed his disappointment in not receiving any acting advice from his fellow members.
At the press conference for TVChosun‘s new drama ‘Saving Ahjooma Go Bong Sil’ that took place at Kyungnam’s Hilton Golf and Spa Resort Clubhouse on the 7th, Kim Kyu Jong remarked, “I heard that Luna got a lot of great advice from the f(x) members, but my fellow members did not offer me any guidance.”
“They simply told me to ‘do well’,” he revealed. “Everyone is so busy, they don’t even have time to take care of themselves, let alone me.”
“All of us members agreed that we would focus on individual promotions for this year and next. I hope that we will all work really hard and we will be able to greet each other as good-willed rivals,” he added with hope.
‘Saving Ahjooma Go Bong Sil’ (written by Park Eun Ryung and directed byYoon Sang Ho) tells the story of Go Bong Sil (Kim Hae Suk) who was living a peaceful life in a village, tending to her flower garden. But when her husband suddenly passes away and she is threatened with bankruptcy, she moves to Seoul’s Itaewon district, starting the second chapter in her life. The drama unravels the heartwarming story of Go Bong Sil as well as others who actively pursue their own happiness.
Kim Kyu Jong will be acting alongside stars such as Kim Hae Suk, Chun Hojin,Kim Hae Ok, and f(x)’s Luna (birth name Park Sun Young), and the first episode airs December 17th at 7:50PM.
